After some research on the use of red marine algae in preventing cold sores and some research on the quality of different brands, I purchased this product. I was pretty with it so far (3 months) satisfied. I'm not cold sores since I started, even while eating chocolate and other things that tend to trigger an outbreak. I can not guarantee that I know why, but I tend to think it played a role. The research is quite convincing andfrom what I can tell, this brand is particularly good. I would definitely recommend it to those who have difficulty with control cold sore outbreaks.
